Discovering Menacuddle Holy Well or Sacred Spring

Menacuddle Holy Well

Our trails take us to Menacuddle Holy Well, in Cornwall. Yes, I found a “cuddle” well, on my first trail, in 2012.

I was staying in St Austell, in Cornwall and I discovered that there was a Sacred Spring with cuddle in its name. I just had to find it. The day I went out exploring was very wet. The rain fell, fell, fell and I was very thankful for my trusty umbrella. Intrepid Sarah went forth despite the elements…

I found it. It was not an easy task, and I have to admit that getting to it was a little scarey for me, out and about on my own, but I just had to keep going. If you would like to visit it, Menacuddle is on the Bodmin Road. You go under the viaduct and about half way between the viaduct and the Waterwheel Restaurant, there’s a little road that goes off into the woods (the scarey bit for me!), with a sign indicating Brake Manor Care Home.

After walking about 50 yards through the woods, you come to the Well…

When I got there, an old man was sitting on the Druid’s Chair. I left him with his beer and reading material and took some pics of the waterfall. The rain very kindly stopped as I arrived and the sun even decided to peep from behind the grey clouds from time to time, transforming my experience of Menacuddle.

Let’s go there now – across the little bridge to access the Well, while the sun is shining through the trees above. After taking some pics of the Well, I take out my pendulum to find a good spot to stand at the energy portal. Sending out love along the energy lines – the love lines. Connecting with All that is, and then specifically stating that I am connecting with all those who can help me, and those I am here to help towards finding the positive abundance within and without. Sending out Angel Cuddle Healing and Reiki, with much love from my heart.

I am using the portal to go to another dimension where another me is sharing love and light, connecting with millions. I extend some questions to the Universe / Source. I receive the answers. I am told to write – for that is what you do to such great effect, dear one. Write, investigate, discover… Write and show up!

I now go into my heart space. I am directed to take this portal into my heart space…

Welcome to my heart space. Menacuddle Holy Well portal is now nestled in the natural garden in my sacred heart space. I can visit the portal and connect with the energetic love lines whenever I want. The Source, Angels and my Other Self embrace me.

Upon my ‘return’ I notice the old man is very interested in what I am doing. He comes to the little bridge, but decides not to come across. He then disappears for a while, so I take the opportunity to take some pics. The man left his plastic bag, beer can and papers on and around the Druid’s Chair. I didn’t want to ask him to move them. This was how I had found the Chair so I took natural pics, as I am the interloper on the scene.

As I got back onto the road, it began to rain very heavily again. I felt like I had been given a respite while I was at the sacred spring. By the time I got back to the centre of St Austell I was able to sit on a bench, in glorious sunshine and write up my notes on the Menacuddle element of the Trail.

“So, what do I do now?” I asked. All sorts of creative project ideas came flooding to me, the scarey one being, make videos and start showing up for those who are waiting for me! It took me some time to come to terms with that one. I had got through my fear of walking through the wood and travelling about on my own, flying on my own…so I could get through my fear of making and sharing videos.

Well, obviously, I did. It took me some time, but projects developed… And I am so happy to be sharing this with you. We are the lights illuminating and transmuting the darkness.
